Equipment Overview
The Double-Drive Wide-Chamber Pin Mill is an impact mill. Inside the grinding chamber, two pin disks rotate at high speed in opposite directions, achieving a maximum relative speed of up to 250 m/s. The material hardness should not exceed Mohs hardness 3. The fineness of the product is controlled by adjusting the rotation speed of the pin disks. When the two pin disks rotate relatively, a centripetal force is generated between them, enabling the processing of wet, viscous and oily materials. Meanwhile, the equipment is very easy to clean—simply open the grinding chamber door. The wide-chamber pin mill is highly suitable for the grinding and processing of crystalline or acicular particles, as well as fatty or oily materials used in the pharmaceutical and food industries. The large grinding chamber of this equipment can prevent the occurrence of internal coating and clogging issues. Compared with other grinding technologies, this equipment has lower energy requirements; in some cases, energy consumption can be reduced by more than 50% depending on the type of material. The ultra-fine grinding of particles is achieved by the high rotation speed of the grinding disks. Almost all grinding requirements can be met by adjusting parameters. The combination of grinding conditions such as rotation direction, grinding disk speed, air volume and feeding rate can be customized according to requirements.
